The use of touch-screen and slate is clearly increasing in popularity. At VISIT 2010, we show a design mock up of a new slate model expected to debut in early 2011. In General we can draw on a heritage of more than 20 years of slate and tablet PCs. Fujitsu are not re-entering the market, but introducing a 2011 model that is designed to meet the changing end user needs for portable computing. We are bringing our experience in this sector to bear in introducing a new slate design to accompany our existing STYLISTIC slate model. Underlining Fujitsu’s focus on the professional end-user, the new slate is designed for global usability in corporate environments, and to blend in to corporate IT infrastructures. Fujitsu is targeting prosumers and creative users alike who are looking for a stylish slate to assist with their daily tasks – as a one-of-a-kind business and personal companion.
The Fujitsu slate will combine the best of smartphones and PCs. Though the specification is not finalized, it will likely have a screen size of 10.1-inches and best-in-class visibility from all sides and angles.
**Update: here is a first video**
Come to Visit 2010 to see our new Tablet PC!

Fix the aspect ratio of the video, it boggles my mind how people with little tech knowledge and ability to do or oversee the smallest of tasks get the placement in this industry, such as the picking of the Lifebook4life team, what a joke. On to the actual tablet, it looks nice. Tell more! Will it be multi touch and digitized with n-trig or wacom? Weight, battery life? Seems like a good contender for the ep121, which if it lives up to rumors has already sold itself to me. I think if you guys pull this product off right with certain features you will be making a very wise choice. I see more people buying these in the next few years.

No references at CES 2011 or other outlets I’ve seen discuss screen input. Is this touch, pen, or both?
It´s both: touch and pen.
